This year, the DelHyVEHR project once again participated in the European Hydrogen Week Conference —one of Europe’s key events for the hydrogen community— held from 29 September to 3 October 2025 in Brussels. The event attracted over 1,200 participants, including policymakers, innovators, and representatives from all segments of the hydrogen value chain, who came together to discuss the sector’s current challenges and future pathways.
Programme Highlights
This year’s conference programme was built around three complementary tracks, each focusing on a different perspective on development within the hydrogen sector:
- High-Level Policy Conference — Sessions where policymakers, industry leaders, and experts examined current developments and strategic directions for hydrogen on the global, European, and national stages
- B2B Forum — Located within the exhibition area, this track fostered direct exchanges, matchmaking, and cross-sector discussions on the main issues affecting the hydrogen industry
- Innovation Forum — Dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge research and technological progress, particularly results from EU-funded initiatives covering the full hydrogen value chain —from production and distribution to storage and end-use.
DelHyVEHR at the Conference
The DelHyVEHR project was represented with a mini-stand hosted by the German Technical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water (DVGW). Throughout the week, the stand served as a hub for engagement, presenting our latest communication materials and sharing recent project developments. Interacting with a wide range of experts and stakeholders offered valuable opportunities to exchange knowledge and explain how DelHyVEHR is supporting the development of liquid hydrogen distribution for the heavy-duty transport sector.
Main Reflections
The Hydrogen Week once again underscored that making full use of Europe’s hydrogen potential is not only essential for driving the energy transition, but also for strengthening the continent’s long-term resilience and energy independence. DelHyVEHR is proud to contribute to this important effort!
