Our Project Coordinator Pierre Bernard, Project Manager at ENGIE, presented the DelHyVEHR project at LNGCON 2026, held from 9-10 March in Barcelona. The congress brought together more than 390 key decision-makers from across the LNG value chain, including representatives from production and liquefaction, storage, transportation, trading, and regasification sectors.

During a Roundtable Discussion on the scalable future of energy hubs, Pierre introduced DelHyVEHR’s work on developing components for large-scale liquid hydrogen refuelling stations for heavy-duty mobility — a key element in supporting the decarbonisation of the transport sector. The Roundtable also included contributions on adapting FSRUs and LNG terminals for hydrogen, ammonia and small-scale energy demand, highlighting the importance of flexible and future-ready energy infrastructure.

We are pleased to see the strong interest in the progress of the DelHyVEHR project and in the role liquid hydrogen technologies can play in advancing sustainable heavy mobility!
